The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with CCHub Nigeria, MDF Global, Concree, Scale-up, Savannah Innovations Lab, the Center for Enterprising Organizations, Inkomoko, and the Africa Leadership Academy (ALA), is excited to announce the launch of the Mastercard Foundation Fund for Alumni Start-ups in Transition (FAST) program. Also, the Mastercard Foundation FAST program will support and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing up to $15,000 in support for each venture.

Also, the Mastercard Foundation FAST program is open to aspiring entrepreneurs or those in the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey. Eligible participants must be alumni from the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), African Leadership Academy (ALA), Anzisha Prize, or the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. These individuals should be ready to innovate and build impactful ventures within Africa.

What is the Benefit of the Award?

Additionally, participants in the Mastercard Foundation FAST program will receive comprehensive support designed to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs. Each selected venture can receive up to $15,000 in funding. The program is structured into two key stages:

  • Idea Phase: Entrepreneurs can receive up to $5,000 to help develop and refine their initial ideas.
  • Build Phase: Between $10,000 to $15,000 is available to transform these ideas into viable business models.

In addition to financial support, participants will gain access to business development training and join a supportive network of like-minded entrepreneurs and mentors, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration
