The Chevron Internship Program provides young Nigerians the opportunity to gain the skills they need in the work environment for them to thrive in their chosen careers. It is sponsored by Chevron Nigeria Limited as part of her Corporate Social Responsibilities. Also, interns are given monthly stipends while they receive hands-on practical training and play supportive roles as assigned to them by the respective work groups. Additionally, they also learn on the job and create a temporary employment platform where people can participate in mandatory learning exercises to gain a wide range of experience in their field of study. Internship Benefits and Duration

Also, the internship periods vary between 6 months for undergraduates and 12 months for postgraduates

Eligibility Requirements for the Chevron Internship Program

Individuals interested in applying for the Chevron Internship Program must the following eligibility requirements: 

  • Applicant must be a Nigerian
  • Must have completed or still runningĀ  his/her undergraduate or postgraduate degree program
  • Possess a minimum grade of 2:1 (second class upper)
  • Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program. (Not applicable to undergraduate interns)
  • Applicant must be academically sound.
  • Applicant must possess good communication skills, exhibit good habits, and be strong with internal deals to succeed.
  • Applicants must be able to work with no or less supervision and must be able to withstand any form of pressure.
  • Applicants should possess leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities, and must be ready to explore.

  • Create an account with the site.
  • Select a field related to your course
  • Upload your Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme(SIWES) letter or Resume as required.
  • Upload Degree certificate or result.
  • Applicants should ensure all questions are responded to correctly. They can proceed further by clicking on the ā€˜apply buttonā€™ to complete registration.
  • Thereafter, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
