The UK-Kenya Tech Hub has partnered with Future Females to support 30 GreenTech entrepreneurs

About the Award: The UK-Kenya Tech Hub will work in a partnership with Future Females Business School so as to support 30 female-led GreenTech businesses. The program aims to impact early-stage businesses working towards creating entrepreneurial solutions that protect and conserve the environment with technologies that are eco-friendly. Some of these businesses are renewable energy, wastewater recycling, eco-friendly fashion, collection of trash, cleaning products, among others.
Founders who are already working on GreenTech solutions and looking to upskill in a manner that strategically utilizes technology to grow their businesses sustainably are encouraged to apply.
Eligible Field(s): Qualifying startups include:

✅ Generation of power
✅ Water management (harvesting, filtering/treatment, and metering)
✅ Farmer’s Market
✅ Organic produce & retail
✅ Green blogs
✅ Eco-friendly fashion
✅ Eco-friendly beauty or cleaning products
✅ Upcycling furniture
✅ Green app development
✅ Used bookstore
✅ Herbal remedy
✅ Food plant nursery and such other industries.
Eligibility: To apply you must be a Kenyan-based female entrepreneur with a GreenTech early-stage startup or business idea and is passionate about creating sustainable yet impactful solutions to society.
