The Google Policy Fellowship program offers undergraduate, graduate, and law students interested in Internet and technology policy the opportunity to spend the summer contributing to the public dialogue on these issues, and exploring future academic and professional interests. Eightsuccessful fellows will have the opportunity to work at public interest organizations at the forefront of debates on internet policy issues. They will be assigned a mentor at their host organizations and will have the opportunity to work with senior staff members.
The UN-Nippon Fellowship Programme is for government officials and other mid-level professionals from developing coastal States, so that they may obtain the necessary knowledge to assist their countries to formulate comprehensive ocean policy. Each year, the UN-Nippon award Fellowships to 10 successful candidates, for a duration of 9 months.

The program is open to final year students working toward an advanced degree such as an MBA, other relevant Masters degrees or recent graduates.
The WTO Young Professionals Programme was launched in 2016 as an opportunity for qualified young professionals from developing and least-developed countries that are members of the WTO to enhance their knowledge regarding WTO and international trade issues. A candidate must have an advanced university degree in law, economics, and other international trade-related subjects, have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience and be 32 years of age or younger. The UNESCO Young Professionals Programme provides young university graduates and young qualified professionals from non- and under-represented Member States an opportunity to join UNESCO at the early stage of their professional career. You must be 32 years old or younger to apply. Renewal of contract will be dependent on candidate’s first 9-month probationary period performance.
Launched in 2013, the World Bank Africa Fellowship Program targets young talented African nationals who are completing or recently completed a Ph.D. in an area relevant to the World Bank’s work. Fellows will spend a minimum of six months at the World Bank offices in Washington, D.C. or in field offices, getting hands-on experience in development work. Candidate must be 32 years old or younger. Fellows will receive consultant fees, round-trip air travel, and worker’s compensation insurance.

The UN Young Professionals Programme is a recruitment initiative for talented, highly qualified professionals to start a career as an international civil servant with the United Nations Secretariat. It consists of an entrance examination and professional development programmes once successful candidates start their career with the UN. The examination is held once a year. The list of participating countries is published annually and varies from year to year. Interested candidates must hold at least a first-level university degree.
