This scholarship is particularly intended to support a young leader who is helping to provide better access to STEM education and technology to underserved groups, or one who is leveraging technology to make a tangible impact in their community, country or world at large.

BP Advancing Energy One Young World Conference Scholarship

This scholarship is for young leaders who are focused on advancing the energy transition, creating low carbon businesses, and mitigating the impact of climate change.

One Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award

CHANEL – One Young World Conference Scholarships

DSM: Brighter Living One Young World Conference Scholarship

Number of Awards: 3

In line with DSM’s purpose-led performance-driven strategy, this scholarship seeks to support young leaders and entrepreneurs who are making a nutritional impact locally with their start-ups, companies, or job in the field of Safe Nutritious Food Processing. This goes hand in hand with addressing inclusive economic development in emerging markets. This is part of DSM’s ambition to safeguard the future of ensuring nutritious and healthy diets for all within planetary boundaries.  

AstraZeneca Young Health Programme to attend One Young World Conference

Number of Awards: 18

The AstraZeneca YHP is looking for young people (aged 18 – 30) who work for or are involved with a non-governmental organisation, social enterprise, community based organization, or who are individuals making an impact through advocacy activities or direct programming related to fighting the burden of non-communicable diseases. In particular this scholarship seeks to support young leaders making an impact in at-least one of the following areas:

  • Tackling tobacco use and alcohol consumption
  • Increasing physical activity and exercise
  • Improving diet and nutrition
  • Raising awareness of mental health and supporting people with mental health problems.
  • Tackling pollution and improving air quality

Deloitte/One Young World Conference Scholarship Program

Number of Awards: 10

This scholarship is intended for young leaders focused on improving the education, skills, and access to opportunity for people in their communities, countries, or world at large. The scholarship is seeking candidates who have demonstrated commitment to:

  • Improving access to education, skills, or employment opportunities for those that may be left behind by the rapidly changing global economy. For example, to women and girls, disadvantaged youth.
  • Creating skills development or lifelong learning opportunities for people to prepare for the future workforce, including in areas where there are talent shortages.
  • Accelerating entrepreneurship, new types of employment, or providing opportunities for people to overcome traditional barriers to employment.

Johnson&Johnson One Young World Conference Scholarship Program

If you are a young leader (aged 18-30) working within health and/or care-giving, then this scholarship is for you. You may be a social entrepreneur or working for a social enterprise, medical facility and/or an NGO, or you may be a birth attendant, nurse, doctor or an individual dedicated to health and care giving to underserved communities.

Queen’s Commonwealth Trust One Young World Conference Scholarship

The Scholarship in particular seeks to support young leaders who are active in one of the following areas: Achieving change through sport; Preserving and protecting the environment; Creating healthier communities; Increasing access to quality education.
