Universities in New Zealand, on behalf of the New Zealand Government, invites the nomination of two (2) Nigerian Candidates for scholarships under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP), funded by the New Zealand Aid Programme, for PhD and Masters level study in New Zealand 2012.

The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) is an international programme under which member governments offer scholarships and fellowships to citizens of other Commonwealth countries. The CSFP was established at the first Commonwealth education conference in 1959 and is reviewed by education ministers at their triennial meetings – the only scholarship scheme in the world to receive such high-level recognition.
The scholarship is tenable from the academic year commencing February, 2013.

The applications will only be considered where particularly strong development relevance is demonstrated, and only in the relevant priority study sectors.

Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of 2:1 class of degree in any field of study
