IWC Water Leader Scholarships 2012-Australia.
The IWC Water Leader Scholarships offer full and partial tuition scholarships for Australian citizens, permanent residents and international applicants for the Master’s in Integrated Water Management program.
Water Leader Scholarships 2012 will be open from 1 May – 1 August 2011.
Please note that applications will not be accepted before May 1, 2011.
Master of Integrated Water Management
The Integrated Water Management suite of programs is custom-designed by leading practitioners and academics from a range of disciplines from International Water Centre (IWC)member universities.
The programs equip students with the integration, leadership, managerial and technical skills to become part of an elite group of water leaders with sustainable and holistic solutions to global water and climate change challenges.
-Full-tuition fees for full-time or part-time/distance** IWC Master of Integrated Water Management program.
-Partial-tuition fees for full-time or part-time/distance** IWC Master of Integrated Water Management program.
The selection committee will make a decision as to which recipients will receive a full or partial tuition scholarship.
** Part-time/distance study option in 2011 is available only to Australian/NZ citizens and permanent residents.
The scholarship does not include:
Travel, accommodation allowance, field work, living costs. These costs will be the responsibility of successful recipients.
-A completed undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution.
-Demonstrated English language proficiency
-Two years practical experience in a related field is preferred but not required.

Professional record: As demonstrated by employment experience, awards and achievements, membership of professional bodies and professional references.
Potential outcomes: The likelihood of positive impacts on the individual and the water sector from participating in the MIWM Program.

Please follow the instructions below. The following forms can be filled out electronically and emailed, or printed and mailed. Original copies of your documents will not be accepted.

Download the UQ application. You can fill this application out electronically.
You will need to provide scanned copies of all required documentation or include the documentation with your mailed applications.
Certified copies of all transcripts of results, award certificates, grading systems, and translations (if necessary)
Proof of English Language proficiency (if required)
Please remember to sign the form (type in your full name in box 10 if submitting electronically)
The international student application fee (AUD$100) is not required for those applying for the IWC Water Leader Scholarships. You must submit your scholarship application form with your UQ international student application, otherwise you must pay the fee.

October 2009- February 2011
International students attend compulsory international student orientation programs prior to commencement of Program in February 2011
Master of International Water Management Program commences in February/March 2011
