Tell Me About The Robotics Artificial Intelligence Nigeria Scholarship: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) is offering scholarships for its prestigious one-year and two-year programs in Robot Development & Automation (RDA), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), and a Combined Program. These programs are designed to equip participants with hands-on technical expertise in emerging 4IR technologies, with a focus on solving real-world problems and fostering innovation in Nigeria and West Africa. The scholarships offer partial tuition coverage valued up to ₦7,700,000, along with starter kits and access to a robust learning experience that has trained over 400 individuals in 5 years. Also, the eligibility criteria include: Academic Qualifications Recent graduates Preferably but not limited to First-class degree holders with excellent references from university lecturers Backgrounds in Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, Mathematics, or Physical Sciences Technical Requirements Demonstrable knowledge of coding (especially Python, C++, or C) Passion for robotics, automation, and/or artificial intelligence Must provide own laptop (16GB RAM, Core i7 recommended) and arrange accommodation in Ibadan Citizenship & Residency Open to any individual legally permitted to study in Nigeria Not limited to Nigerian citizens, welcome to qualified candidates from across West Africa How are Applicants Selected? Shortlisted applicants with the highest post engagement and most compelling video message will be invited for an interview where they must present: Comprehensive resume/CV Two Letters of recommendation addressed to the Director, RAIN Academic transcripts Proof of coding knowledge/projects Other supporting documents as requested Special consideration will be given to passionate individuals without university degrees who demonstrate exceptional aptitude and interest in robotics and AI/ML technologies.
