The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic offers annual scholarships to foreign nationals, pursuant to bilateral intergovernmental or departmental agreements concluded with a number of countries. The Czech Government Scholarships for International Students is open to university/college undergraduate students or graduates and Ph.D. candidates who wish to accomplish a study or research stay from 2 to 10 months.
The Royal Geographical Society- RGS is a UK’s learned society and professional body for geography and advance geography. Through it’s activities in the UK and across the world the society promote, support and enhance geographical research, education, fieldwork and expeditions, public engagement, knowledge transfer to policy, and the professional accreditation of geographers, as well as holding one of world’s pre-eminent geographical collections that spans over 500 years of discovery and geographical science.
The ABC’s Conservation Program supports small to medium sized conservation projects in Africa. Since 1996, it has funded a wide variety of projects including training courses, research into threatened species and promotion and awareness of conservation issues in Africa.
The Club aims to encourage range of ideas as wide as possible. Many different types of project can be considered so long as there is a clear conservation objective.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature, IUCN small grant program, using CARPE- Central African Regional Program for the Environment- fund has the objective to strengthening civil society for sustainable forest conservation in Central Africa. IUCN was founded in 1948, with the mission to influence, encourage and assist societies throughout the world to conserve the integrity and diversity of nature and to ensure that any use of natural resources is equitable and ecologically sustainable.
The PADI Foundation is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation that encourages and supports underwater science, environmental projects, and education. The Foundation funds and assists worthwhile projects that will enrich mankind’s understanding of the aquatic environment and encourage sensitivity to and protection of the delicate ecological balance of underwater life. The Foundation will also fund worthwhile projects to increase understanding of sport diving physics and physiology that will benefit the general diving public and add to the scientific understanding of man’s relationship and ability to survive in the underwater environment.
