What we do
AfterschoolAfrica is an online resource on education/learning opportunities for African youth development. Our core values does not necessarily lie in acquiring academic qualification but in encouraging young Africans to self develop by taking advantage of opportunities available to them. We also promote technological developments that encourage life-long learning and self empowerment.
Our goal is to effectively inform and educate our audience on the following topics:
- Scholarship opportunities for African students
- Competitions and awards
- Online learning and distance education
- Educative Technology tools
- African youth development
We are passionate and enthusiastic about continued-education and youth empowerment.
Our definition of education is simply ‘the process of knowing how to learn for the rest of your life’. We believe education does not only happen within the four walls of higher institutions but occurs everywhere and every day; hence, promote self learning tools
